A Wicked Night on Broadway

There’s just something about Broadway that never loses its shine. Tonight, we traded our walking shoes for playbills and headed straight into Oz—New York style! We went to see Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre, and honestly, it blew us away.

From the second the curtain went up, we were hooked. The singing? Unreal. Every note was bold, emotional, and straight-up goosebumps material. The sets were like something out of a dream—massive gears turning, emerald lights flashing, and a stage that felt alive. Every detail was perfect, from the costumes’ sparkle to the flying scenes that actually made my jaw drop.

And the story—ugh, it gets me every time. So clever, so heartfelt, and packed with humor just when you need it. The chemistry between Elphaba and Glinda? Pure Broadway gold.

When the final curtain came down, the entire theatre jumped to its feet—one of those moments where you can feel how much everyone loved it. Walking out onto the busy Midtown streets afterward, still humming the tunes, felt like floating a few inches off the ground.

If you haven’t seen Wicked live, do it. There’s no better way to spend a night in New York than getting lost in a little magic.
