Today marked our first full day in Albuquerque, and what a day it was! It began with a refreshing early bike ride with Lucky. He was full of energy, trotting alongside the bike with excitement, his ears flapping in the crisp morning air. It felt wonderful to stretch our legs after yesterday’s journey and enjoy a quiet moment together before the day’s adventures begin.

Mid-morning, we decided to take a scenic drive to Santa Fe. Our destination was the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, a place I’ve been eager to visit. The drive itself was pleasant, even though the wind had started picking up, carrying with it a hint of what was to come later in the day.Santa Fe charmed us with its unique character. The adobe-style buildings, vibrant colors, and plethora of unique shops made it a feast for the eyes and soul. Walking through the streets felt like stepping into a living piece of art. The museum did not disappoint either—O’Keeffe’s work was mesmerizing, a beautiful reflection of thelandscapes and essence of the Southwest. As the day wore on, the wind became a formidable presence, whipping up dust and sending tumbleweeds careening across the highway on our drive back toAlbuquerque. It was quite the sight—nature putting on its own wild performance.

Despite the blustery weather, the day was filled with memorable moments, from Lucky’s happy sprints in the morning to the artistic treasures of Santa Fe and the quirkiness of the shops we visited. Albuquerque is already shaping up to be a place of adventure and discovery.

Kosmos in Albuquerque delivered an unforgettable dining experience. The burgers were juicy, the fries perfectly crispy, and the flavors danced on the palate in a way that was simply stellar. Paired with the restaurant’s cosmic ambiance—complete with celestial décor and an otherworldly vibe—it felt like stepping into a deliciously quirky corner of the universe. A meal that was truly light-years ahead!

I can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds!
