Today was the day we set out on our exciting road trip from Reno to Las Vegas. We
were all packed and ready to hit the road early in the morning. The first leg of our
journey took us through the picturesque landscapes of Nevada.
Hawthorne
Our first stop was in Hawthorne, where we pulled into the charging station to top up
the car. The small town had a unique charm with its military history and the scenic
Walker Lake nearby. While the car charged, we stretched our legs and walked our
dog, Lucky, enjoying the fresh morning air. It was a good opportunity to take a few
photos and admire the surroundings.

Tonopah
Continuing on, we made our way to Tonopah for our second charging stop. Tonopah,
with its mining history and quirky attractions, was an interesting place to explore
while we waited. We didn’t have time to visit any museums, but we made the most of
the break by walking Lucky around and taking in the sights. The time seemed to fly
by, and before we knew it, the car was charged and ready to go.

Beatty
Our final charging stop was in Beatty, a small town just outside the famous Death
Valley. Here, we had a delightful surprise waiting for us—a burro! As we pulled into
the charging station, a friendly burro approached us, curious and seemingly
welcoming. We couldn’t resist interacting with it and spent a few minutes petting it.
Lucky was equally fascinated, making the encounter even more special. The burro
was definitely a highlight of our trip, adding a touch of charm and unexpected joy to
our journey.

With the car fully charged, we continued on the last leg of our trip to Las Vegas. The
drive was smooth, and the excitement built up as we approached the vibrant city
lights. Reflecting on the day, it was a perfect blend of beautiful landscapes, small
town charm, and a memorable encounter with a burro that made this trip truly
special.
